Be Prepared Well

Our tours take place in real rainforest conditions, so a little preparation goes a long way toward an enjoyable trip.

Get a good night's rest — most wildlife tours start very early (5:00-6:00 AM) to catch the animals' active hours.
Have a moderate level of fitness — trails can be uneven, muddy, and humid.
Set realistic expectations — wildlife sightings depend on nature and are never 100% guaranteed.
Confirm your booking at least 1-2 days in advance so we can prepare your guide and permits.

Bring Along Your Logistics Such As

Pack light but smart. Here's what we recommend bringing on your tour:

Comfortable, closed walking shoes or trekking boots
Light rain jacket or poncho (weather can change quickly)
Insect repellent and sunscreen
Hat or cap, and a reusable water bottle
Camera or binoculars for wildlife and birding tours
Flashlight or headlamp for evening/night tours
Personal medication, and swimwear for boat/water tours

Rules and Cautions

To keep both you and the wildlife safe, please follow these simple guidelines during the tour:

Always follow your guide's instructions, especially around wildlife
Keep a respectful distance — do not touch, chase, or feed the animals
Keep your voice low and avoid sudden movements in the forest
Avoid flash photography, especially during nocturnal/night tours
Stay on marked trails and do not litter inside the reserve
Respect local culture, staff, and fellow travelers at all times
